Ask questions, don’t assume!

let’s take an example - I asked my friend “what mobile you want to buy?” he said, Oh, I want to buy, ‘samsung z fold‘, then I jumped to the conclusion and suggested him, ’Samsung is old phone, buy Apple mobile. what mistake I did, I supposed to ask him questions, what is the speciality of ‘Samsung z fold‘ and what you want ? If I ask questions then I will get more knowledge. you will always know and learn more by asking questions.

Rule - unless someone asked don’t give suggestion (this rule is not applicable to parents or elders (with ethical values))

Note - apple is a good phone but requirement of the buyer may be different. This blog has an ‘phone example’ and it is not the comparison between 2 products.
